EQUIPMENT: All you need
at this stage is pencil, paper, eraser and felt-nib pen.
1. Take you pencil or felt-nib and dozens of scraps
of paper and draw ovals, hundreds of them.

IMPORTANT
Keep your wrists off the paper. The purpose of this is to help you ‘loosen
up’.
Practice, practice, practice, before you start each lesson.
2. Now draw a dozen or so ovals and put
some T' s in them, as shown below. Differ the sizes and angles. These
form a simple nose.

3. Now add dots for eyes. Change the positions
and you’ll see changes in the expressions

Draw dozens of these.
